A major international airport and gateway to a lot of international destinations, 13 miles (21 km) south of downtown San Francisco, California, United States. This airport is the second busiest in CA after Los Angeles Airport [LAX] and among top 10 busiest airports in the U.S. Beautifully modelled and very unique tower building and surroundings, terminals.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m a sucker for night ops, and SFO looks amazing when the sun goes down. I even tried a session with the fog rolled in—absolutely stunning and made the voice commands even more vital since you’re relying so much on the radar. Solid 5 stars.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Busy, but manageable SFO is way more chill than KLAX but still keeps you moving. I love the variety of traffic here—you get everything from regional hops to massive international flights coming in from Asia. The taxiway markings are super clear, so I rarely have planes getting ‘lost’ at intersections. My only tip: pay close attention to the gate assignments in Terminal 3, it can get a bit tight during the morning rush!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve put about 20 hours into this airport alone and I’m not bored yet. It’s a rock-solid add-on with zero bugs so far. If you’re building a US west coast collection, you can’t skip San Francisco.

The airport has four terminals (1, 2, 3, and International) and seven concourses. It is the largest international terminal in North America. Terminal 1 (Boarding Area B), Terminal 2 (Boarding Areas C and D), and Terminal 3 (Boarding Areas E and F) handle domestic flights. The International Terminal (Boarding Areas A and G) handles international flights and some domestic flights too.
