[KCVG] – Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky Airport – Tower! Simulator 3

(IATA: CVG, ICAO: KCVG, FAA LID: CVG) The international airport, based in Kentucky and serving the Cincinnati region, throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and beyond.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love how open this airport feels compared to some of the cramped coastal hubs. The four runways (including that crosswind one!) give you plenty of options, but you really have to be careful with your taxi crossings so you don’t stall out the departures.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ KCVG is unique because you get these massive international cargo flights mixed in with regional passenger hops. The updated ground textures and PBR look really crisp on my setup. I only gave it 4 stars because the ‘People Mover’ between the terminal and concourses isn’t animated, but honestly, the overall detail on the terminal buildings and the smooth performance more than make up for it.

Version 25.10.06 – Changes:
– Fix missing runway number decals on ground model.

The airport’s code, CVG, is because Covington, KY was the closest city to the airport at the time it opened. Serving commercial passengers since 1947 with more than an area of 7,700 acres (3,100 ha) and offers non-stop passenger service to over 50 destinations in North America and Europe, handling numerous domestic and international cargo flights every day.

The airport has one terminal and two concourses with a total of 51 gates. Both concourses are islands and are only accessible by an underground moving walkway and people mover. All international arrivals without pre-clearance are handled in Concourse B.
